Wonderment, scientific curiosity, a desire for spiritual transcendence, and the joy of visual musicality drive my digital creations. I am attracted to biomorphic and mineral structures, evolving visual textures, and my interest in emergence theory leads me to begin with simplistic elements that build in complexity through repetition and compounded processes. I favor a cycle of experimentation and analysis, leading to reactive edits which coax the work toward aesthetic unity and balance: an exercise in observation, recognition, and cultivation. The pixel field, like the sea of molecules in which I am enmeshed, can be engaged with both intention and chance, and those moments of unexpected discovery are important motivations for my practice.
